If your 5th-12th grade student plays a fall sport for St. George's, be on the look-out for sports-specific yard signs which will be distributed to families at upcoming parent meetings, at pick-up after practice, etc. Our goal is to cover the community with consistent-looking signs, showcasing both our athletic logo and our talented athletes across all sports. Throughout this year, we hope that each household involved in a school sport will join us in showing our Gryphon spirit to the entire Memphis community!

THE SENIOR ALMANAC: Attention Senior Parents! Did you know there is a webpage listing significant dates of senior events throughout the year? Bookmark the Senior Almanac page or just use the search field next to "Quicklinks" on the SGIS website and enter "Senior Almanac." This page is periodically updated as dates and/or locations of events are confirmed.

NINTH GRADE COLLEGE & WORK READINESS ASSESSMENT: On August 22, the ninth grade will take the CWRA, an assessment which measures student learning and provides meaningful data useful in strengthening curriculum and pedagogy. Since this is an online assessment, students need to bring their fully charged laptops to school this day. The assessment will be from 8:30-10:00 am.

LOOKING TO TRY SOMETHING NEW? The Varsity Competitive Cheer Team will add several additional girls to complete our 2017-2018 football and competitive squad. We take girls with advanced cheer skills and girls with no cheer skills and mold them into a competitive team. If you are interested in learning more about Varsity Competitive Cheer, please contact Camilla Evans at sgischeer@gmail.com. Fall practices began on August 1 at the Collierville campus gym, and we would love for you to stop by. Again, no cheer or tumbling experience is required. Come and observe a practice and see if varsity cheer is for you!

NEW VEHICLES ON CAMPUS: If your student will be a new driver on campus or has changed vehicles over the summer, please complete the vehicle registration form.
