SUMMER ENEWS: Welcome to the first edition of Summer Enews. Instead of publishing weekly as we do during the academic year, Summer Enews will come out every other week. We welcome families who are newly admitted to the St. George's community as well!

SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS: Make sure you have all the information for your child's summer work. Visit our summer assignments page. Note that middle/upper school mathematics assignments will be posted July 1 in conjunction with class assignments and the opening of the online bookstore.

GRYPHNATION STUDENT LIFE APP RELEASED: GryphNation, a student life app that rewards users for attending events, is now live on the App Store and coming soon for android users! Download the app to check in to events, earn points, and get rewarded. Download the flyer.
SAVE THE DATE OF JUNE 22 FOR ALUMNI NIGHT AT THE LEVITT SHELL: St. George's alumni are invited to the Levitt Shell on Thursday, June 22 at 6:30 pm. Bring your picnic basket, coolers, and blanket. SHUTTLE REGISTRATION FOR 2017-18 - REGISTER BY JULY 1: Need to register for a space on next year's shuttle? Visit our transportation services page for next year's schedule and the online registration. Shuttle spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis and the deadline to register is July 1.
NEED TO ORDER A LAPTOP? Our middle/upper school laptop order information is updated for the 2017-18 school year, and we are ready to receive new purchases. Please also refer to the email dated May 16 which went to all rising middle and upper school families and includes details about laptop ordering deadlines and new student orientations. Whether you have a new sixth grader or a returning student who needs a new laptop for the coming school year, our laptop pages have all the information you need to make an informed decision. RESERVE AD SPACE IN THE 2017 YEARBOOK: Support St. George’s Independent School by placing an ad in our yearbook! Ads are a great way to advertise for a business and/or honor a student, teacher, volunteer, club, or team. Click here to access the online ad agreement form. You can reserve your space now but ads will not be officially processed until payment is received. Space goes fast, so reserve soon!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS: Are you an artist or do you know an artist who would be a great addition to the St. George's Art Show held in November 2017? NEW PHYSICALS FOR UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR: Please be sure to get your sports physical turned in to the athletic office before beginning a practice/try-out or any participation in sports. The deadline is July 10 for fall sports. You may find all forms necessary to complete a physical packet on the athletic section of the school's website.
SUMMER READING LISTS ONLINE: We are pleased to announce the release of the Summer Reading lists for 2017. Again this year, the lists are presented in a “LibGuide” format created by the SGIS librarians. In addition to the lists of titles and summer assignments, the Summer Reading LibGuide provides students with access to book trailers, author interviews, and other links to help enhance the summer reading experience.
