PHOTO OF THE WEEK: Little Georgies, our Infant and Early Learning Program, has seen huge interest, and the demand has prompted us to expand into the back rooms of the Little Chapel. But what to do when the garden at the entrance is overgrown and unwelcoming? On one of the hottest days of the year, Director Danielle Taylor, SGIS parent Wendy Stone, four hard-working middle school girls, one enthusiastic fifth grade girl, and one spunky second grade boy tackled the job. Says Taylor, "We desire for our infants to be able to explore soft grass, feel the wind, relax in the shade, and experience new smells and sounds. We are also thrilled that our toddlers will enjoy the courtyard by planting seasonal flowers, exploring water play activities, and experiencing imaginative play with the gnome homes." Great job, St. George's volunteers!
